                        <div class="title-text">The IWPA provides a forum for women in Aviation and women interested in aviation who have the spirit to take up challenges in the pursuit for excellence.</div>
                       <h4><strong>Here it all began</strong></h4>
                        <div class="text">
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1967</strong> - Chanda Budhabhatti (Chairperson and founder president), Rabia Futehally, Mohini Shroff, Dr. Sunil Bhanjekar, Mangala Joshi and Kumudini Rawal formed the Indian Women Pilot Association.</p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1976,</strong> the first woman flight instructor and agropilot took shape in Binodini Devi Laishram.</p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1984, </strong>Dr. Prabhavati Dixit became the first 65 year young ;) woman to obtain a Private Pilot License. </p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1985, </strong>First lady Captain on a Fokker Friendship F-27 & the first woman in the world to Captain an all woman air crew that same year in November - none other than: Capt. Saudamini Deshmukh.</p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1988, </strong>Air India opens doors to women pilot in july 1988. Mrs Harpreet A.De singh is the first lady ground instructor selected in india. Also the first lady head of QMS, SMS, ERP & chief of flight safety in india</p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1990, </strong>Captain Nivedita Bhasin became youngest jet commander in the world, flying the B-737 as captain & presntly flies the B-787 Dreamliner</p>
                            <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1993, </strong>The first woman to obtain a balloon & airship license? Anita Krishnan Yadav.</p>
                         <p style="text-align:justify"><strong>In 1995, </strong>Cheryl Dutta & Simran Sondhi team up to be the first woman flight cadets to constitute the first all-woman crew-ed helicopter flight.</p>
